Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd was established in 1974 near Stockport, primarily as main distributors for the Enerpac and Tangye range of High Pressure Hydraulic Equipment to all sectors of industry.

Due to the increase in business with the nuclear industry, in 1996 an additional branch  was opened in Kendal, Cumbria.

The two locations now provide a national and international service for the supply, hire and maintenance of an extensive range of both high and low pressure hydraulic cylinders, jacks, hand , electric, air and diesel powered pumps, valves, gauges, hoses, together with a range of ancillary equipment including nut splitters, pullers, torque wrenches, workholding and cutters. We also offer a design and manufacture facility for bespoke applications.

In our workshops we carry out servicing, testing and repairs to manufacturers approved standards and will be pleased to collect and quote free of charge for any repairs you may have.

Since it’s conception Hi-Press Hydraulics has been involved in a broad range of industries including general engineering, construction, nuclear, aerospace and rail transport.

Experienced engineer’s are always available to discuss applications and all work is carried out to the ISO 9001:2000 standard which Hi-Press Hydraulics Ltd obtained in July 2001.
